Weitzel’s practice includes some of the world’s largest deals. He has deep experience in capital markets, acquisitions, venture capital, board advisory work, fiduciary duties and artificial intelligence.

Weitzel’s business-first approach developed in Silicon Valley, where he began his career doing tech transactions. His analytical skills were honed clerking for the Honorable Michael W. Mosman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and for Chief Judge Emeritus J. Clifford Wallace of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Weitzel has advised public and private company boards in New York, Silicon Valley, Texas and the Middle East. He has conducted mergers, investments, capital market offerings and business structuring in six continents, including the largest initial public offering to date.

Outside of work, Weitzel teaches business law and artificial intelligence at the University of Nebraska. He, his wife and four kids are active in their community and church.
